im sick of the death lady chapters, she yaps and yaps and yaps and there’s no point to why shes saying. skimming all of her chapters from this moment on to get to the flight passengers’ chapters. boring yapper can get read by someone lad, i don’t
see the point sorry liane.

it’s 2:30am and i am determined to finish this book. i’ve complained about her writing but as soon as i got to part two i have been unable to put this book down.

i’ve got my fingers crossed that at SOME point we get a bit of sylvia pov just because i’d like to see what’s going on in her brain!

still love ivan and margaret, they seem like a good match of personalities regardless of their (margeret’s) insecurities about the age difference.

thoughts on the writing: will not be reading another rooney book. what was she on? definitely and over hyped author.

no speech marks for dialogue? weird but i’ve gotten used to it now.

didnt like peter ay the start, still not keen on him. love ivan and margaret.

might not read anything else by sally rooney after this but thoroughly enjoying intermezzo so far :)

this is such a slow burn, i have read 3 books since starting this one. sorry ruthy but you are dragging with this one…
