I can’t remember much about this world from Every Summer After, but right from the first couple pages I knew I would love this. I love how Alice describes things, I relate to her opinion of herself, I LOVE how forward Charlie is. I had to put it down at the glitter. If you know, you know, and I had tears in my eyes at that. Wow

i loved this. i guess i took enough time away from romcom books bc i didnt even care about the obvious tropes in this. i loved it. i love parker. elle didn't annoy me. the ending made me feel good. it wasn't rushed. it happened how it should. although, in the middle, i did get frustrated with how unrealistic some parts seemed, but i got past that LOL. but... i'd love a story where the MMC is the main narrator!

I don’t understand how he can be the most famous/wealthiest tech CEO and be dating an unknown person and have her NOT secret be found out within like, days? And also, if they’re WALKING around the city to the most popular pizza places, certainly the paparazzi would find them and bother them all day long? It is so unrealistic that they are still casually going around the city. And the puke is too.

tears when i realized what Charlie was doing when he told Ella there was something he forgot to tell her. tears in my eyes laughing. Charlie is hilarious. caught red-handed. im also infatuated with Oxford now.

thoroughly enjoying the focus on poetry and historical literature of this, makes me want to read all the old books mentioned. I also like reading the FMC abroad and hoping to travel, explore and make the most of it! Being able to picture Cory Mylchreest while reading is nice too. Maggie's inclination to apologize for everything is so English, love that stereotype mixed in lol.
