The author really had me with the set up but once Part II comes in, it takes a hard shift into an inventive approach to spice up the novels format and it lost me instantly.

Anytime I open this book I can’t put it down. So concise and relevant to everyday tensions and struggles.

Losing steam; I enjoyed the chapters delving into anthropology and the protagonist’s deception of unassuming French men.

There’s something about shady protagonists manipulating and ruining peoples lives that I keep coming back to.

Love a good anthropology character drama which this seems to be.
