I’m EATING this book up. Am I … a fantasy lover? I just might be.

🙄🙄🙄🙄 Katy is easily the most insufferable book character I’ve read and she makes the story absolutely pathetic. Who calls their mom the “true love of their life” 🤣

The unhealthy level of codependency Katy has on her mom is actually so insane and ridiculous for a 30 year old woman. She’s quite insufferable

*eye roll* how are you going to fall in love with someone you’ve literally never spoken to? 🙄

Whatever the opposite is of a slow burn, this is that.

Was genuinely confused for a large portion of this beginning

Part 2 of the book kind of has me rolling my eyes because it seems the author wants to make sure she includes all controversial topics in the book and it feels like we’re just focusing on those topics rather than the point of the whole story - which idek what the point is. At this point in the book, I’m just finishing it to check it off towards my yearly goal.

I genuinely cannot stand Jude. She’s absolutely insufferable. And the way she acts towards Grace? YEARS later??? Unreal. I simply cannot understand her.

I can’t wait to write a full review of this book. I understand Jude has every right to grieve and I know grief doesn’t look the same for everyone and it’s not linear but she’s insufferable and I just struggle so bad to like her 🥴

Okay, tragic. Jude’s been an insufferable parent the entire book but her response to the current situation really just irritates me to my core.

Okay I think I’m starting to see Esther’s sanity slip but still feels confusing and also the timeline jumps without clear indicators is driving me insane
