I think I like this more than other books with pathetic loser MCs bc the author doesn’t think they’re cool or admirable but rather is portraying them as human embodiments of the downstream effects of certain aspects of our culture
He’s walking the reader through their logical thought progression, which seem to make sense in a SICK! twisted way, while also brutally frying them
