Some of the timelines of this already don't add up. "3 years ago... 2 years from that day, here we are." you JUST said 3 years ago that happened, so how can it be 2 years ago and 3 all at once? 3 years brings her daughters age to 17 when she would have met her step father. And MC says that over the 'years' he doted on her, went to every parents evening, took her to all sleep overs and discos... eh?!

This has slowed right down and I'm not enjoying it as much. Very sad. Very little actual Piracy happening in this Pirate book.
