This book was going well... and now i'm listening to it on 2x speed cause i just want it to be over 😭😭😭

Not quite as anger inducing as the book of doors but I have MANY thoughts already. I know I need to wait a bit to see how it plays out but like... yallllll. Also Una bisexual slay.

I can already tell this is not going to be my favorite book. Chief among my complaints: why create such a political history for your fantasy world if you will not unpack it or make some sort of commentary? I understand this is a "romantasy" book I guess but you could spend maybe a few more pages having the HISTORIAN comment on whether what happened was positive or negative. Let's flesh out the nuances!

The fact that the author's name is bigger than the font of the actual title of the book made me think the title was "the everlasting alix e harrow" until just now... like girl, make your font smaller you're confusing me 😭😭😭😭
