really liking this one so far! took a few pages to get in after being thrown into the worldbuilding, but i adapted quickly, and i'm fond of the writing style!

bree is slightly less annoying! i'm pretty interested in how their world works though this is such a creative magic system

how am i going to survive 500 pages inside the mind of this girl when she told alice who was just trying to protect bree, to "stop blaming me for your choices"????

okay this fantasy main character is making me rage. like at first i thought that she was well-written but now she's blatantly disregarding her friend and not learning when to speak and when to hold your silence 🤦‍♀️ forty pages in and shes already making dumb decisions

i lied; i forgot caraval wasn't very good, so i went to the library and got legendborn instead

not as good as beach read so fad, but still intriguing!

SO GOOD!!!! im thankful that i was introduced to the loml that was emily henry
