At first i was kind of annoyed by the extremely short chapters, but i have grown to like it. it keeps my short attention span brain locked in, and i only like to stop reading at the end of chapters so that’s very helpful. this book is pretty intriguing so far.

I am very intrigued on what’s going on in this book right now. I can tell this ending is going to be really good or really stupid. I guess we see

Started this book tonight, have had it for a little while. I’ve seen the movie of course but time to read the book.

emily was right, it’s getting kind of boring but i’m still determined to finish this book. i feel like sejanus is gonna somehow fuck up and get people killed. damn maybe him and lucy will get hung together at the tree. i don’t know. do you think president old snow looks back on this and goes “wow what a disgrace i was to the capitol”. stinky snow

yoooo i’m getting to the backstory of the rebellion song. snow went to the tree where they strung up a man who they say murdered three!! bet you lucy gonna make a song about that one.

Well the games are over and all of a sudden he’s a peacekeeper??? okay i guess. i go bed now but this kinda seems like a point where i would get bored and stop reading. i need to power through so i can go see that movie before it leaves theaters.

Things are starting to get a little better. It’s aggravating that this man is wasting time but also I bet I would too if I was in that situation LOL. Maybe not. He probably can’t die. Guess we will see.

I am slightly confused as to where this book is going. I kinda just got plopped in here which I guess kinda just happened to the main character too, but it’s hard to keep my small brain interested when books start out like this. I’m going to keep reading though bc i’m sure things will sort itself out. I think I have PTSD from that shitty book Horrid. Kinda started w/ a mystery like this…

Emily and I picked out romance books for each other and though I am only 39 pages in, I must say she’s made a good choice. It’s enemies to lovers (WOOOOOOOOOOO) and I cannot wait to see how this pretty lady softens this man’s hardened heart.

Alright so I read 110 pages in one sitting and the only reason I stopped is bc my boyfriend came over. I miss reading. Anyway my guess is evelyn slept with her father. if you really wanna make it weird we can even say that evelyn is her mother.

Finally picked this book back up after a long time. I can’t really see where this book is going to go but I also know what is probably going to happen to Jude. Also JB is an asshole and I feel like i’m gonna continue saying this every time I update.

you know i told emily i was going to bed but instead i stayed up and continued reading. now it’s midnight and i’m crying bc fuckin harold got JSF engraved on the ‘family’ watch and Willem showed up to his adoption and Jude felt so happy without restraint. I’m crying writing this too. What’s gonna hurt my sweet boy next :((

I’m not quite sure where this book is going tbh. The author talks about so many things in such detail. Why do I have to know the backstory of Willems boss at the restaurant. I’m sure there is a reason. It’s hard to read this book while tired. I’m EXTREMELY interested in seeing where these candid paintings will take JBs career. JB is an asshole but it’s sweet how proud he is of his painting of Jude 🥺

okay so i’ve barely read any of this book so far but i figured i’d give emily something. I don’t have time to read more bc i have 827373 school assignments due this week. I’m honestly intrigued by what’s happening so far and nothing has even really ‘happened’. JB seems like a grade A fuckin douche, but the friends seem to like him so many I will too? Malcolm seems like he’s gonna die i got vibes.

Around page 110 I started reading this out loud to my friend in discord. He was intrigued to know what I was reading. It’s getting spookier and spookier. Apparently this house makes people crazy?? Have any of y’all seen Haunting of Bly Manor? I wonder if it’s like that.
