God I really want to love this book and I liked all of the characters… but charlotte is unbearable … so insecure, whiny, spoiled, and not as confident/strong as she seemed to be in the first couple chapters. How I just want her to make a decisions for her herself without worrying about how others thought or felt makes me want to scream.

I know better than to start a series that is incomplete… but here I am devouring this. It’s pretty fast paced and I’m clinging to every word. I love the mystery aspect, love tension building, the banter is what I live for, & ALEX - chefs kiss baby!!

I’m dreading finishing this book, left only to wait for the next. So good & deserving of all the hype.
