Anant is 75% done with The Shadow of the Wind (The Cemetery of Forgotten Books, #1)

Loving this book. It's got this surreal feel and lyrical style of reading that transports you to a different place. It's spooky, it's romantic, it's nostalgic and its mystical. Read it. Recommended by the penguin list of 21 must read books which are my goal for 2016.

Anant is 80% done with Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China

A really wonderful book. It's well written and very easy to read. The author does a wonderful job painting a picture of life in China. Through the experiences of herself, her mother and her grandmother she makes you feel like you've lived through the pre-Mao warlord life and also experienced communism under Mao. One of my top historical book recommendations.
