I LOVE this book! Here is a recent highlight:

By revealing in our own life the character of Christ we co-operate with Him in the work of saving souls. It is only by revealing in our life His character that we can co-operate with Him.

While my husband and I do not agree with everything the author has to say about the last portion of Daniel 11, mainly because the author seems to have blinders on and focuses too much on just one aspect, this is probably the book that is the closest to an accurate interpretation that we have read so far. We only wanted to read the part on chapter 11, so we're dropping this book.

The rapid changing in POV sometimes annoys me, but at the same time it gives a good feel for just how much is going on all at once, which is appropriate given the setting. Overall, quite good so far.

I got a kick out of Kyria's disguise. In fact, I get a kick out of Kyria in general, not to mention the rest of the family. Go duchess power! :D

I am rather enjoying it so far. I do wish the author would look into Rafe's thoughts a bit more often, though. It's a bit too heavily focused on Kyria, making poor Rafe look so one-dimensional. That said, I do like Kyria quite a bit. :)
