Wtf is this book about I just don't understand

I started from the beginning bc I felt like I had no idea whats going on
Now I'm still as much confused, if not more lol
Tf is going on in this book and also how is this school material in the US if I remember correctly? Anyway ... ig We'll see tmrw

Now I'm at the point where I'm intrigued, but I must say that the first like 2 chapters I was soooooo annoyed
the writing's just annoying lol
