Kat is on page 53 of 1232 of Tom's Crossing
The writing style is one I am having to get used to. How I did this without issue in middle school reading the lord of the rings, I have no idea

i feel like “want to read” is a bit broad for some of the things i have on that shelf, but i can’t justify making another shelf with a stupidly long name like “things on my bookshelf at home that i plan on reading but i’m not dying to or anything”

Kat is on page 212 of 336 of Dune Messiah (Dune #2)
It’s interesting to me how unwilling Paul is to deviate from his visions. His fears of the unknown, more so than the fear of violence or deviation, control every decision he makes. If he hasn’t seen it he won’t tread there. One could argue that a powerful character should rebel against his fate, but also, would that change anything at all?
