After crossing the 50% mark this feels like a whole different book, like it actually feels like Fourth Wing again. The first 50% were such a drag tho, but if the rest ends up being as great as this beginning of the second half I could maybe MAYBE turn a blind eye to all the political and geographical nonsense I read for 300 pages. Rebecca you have one shot to redeem yourself, YOU BETTER USE IT SWEETHEART!!

Almost halfway through the book and I can't seem to find a fuck to give about the plot. It would probably help if there actually was a plot. Which there isn't.
So much info dumping, unnecessary descriptions and politics, random characters being thrown around... And we genuinely only found out 2 important thing. In 360 pages.
Either I'm dumb or everyone else read a different version of this book cause AIN'T NO WAY??

Every time they hide something from Dorian or make a fool out of him I wanna claw my eyes out. This is too much injustice for a character that doesn't deserve it.

4. Can she for the life of her just make up her mind? She's pissing me off. 10 chapters ago Dorian was her OnLy fRiEnD!!!1!! and now she's telling the full story to Chaol but not to Dorian?! You know what? Spare me.
