I’m rereading this for spooky season and it’s always a winner. Signna and death 🫶🏼

Finally it got good

It’s def a lot slower than the first book - so it takes some effort to get through which is a shame

And it’s slowed down again

I need a moment to process everything 😳

FINALLY something happened! About time

It’s hard gojng. I hope it gets better

It’s still dragging a bit but not as much as before -
And the story is starting to gain momentum again. Although I’m getting a little tired of Priscian using every second to bang

It’s dragging on a little and it def lost its pace in the middle but I’m hopeful it’ll regain it again. I can’t be bothered with silly arguments anymore

How is this book not more talked about! 😱

This book has me sleep deprived. I don’t care that my eyes burn at 2am in the morning I MUST 🤌🏼KNOW 🤌🏼 HOW 🤌🏼 THIS 🤌🏼 ENDS 💫 and so far I have NO idea what’s gonna happen and I LOVE that

It’s REALLY hard to put this book down 😮‍💨🤌🏼 it’s way past midnight and I keep wanting to read “just one more chapter”

So I’m finding it really difficult to stay engaged with this book. I LOVED the first one. It had me turning page after page after page . Here Fia has had a personality transplant. She’s lost all of her empathy, logic and likeability.

Irain has become a pushover and Chandika is just weird now. Idk I’m skimming through this book and it makes me sad

This book must have been in front of me by fate - how else can I explain the SOBBING I did when Vasaa sat with the women in her grief having the exact thoughts I HAD that same week 😭

The first 100 pages of this book are HARD! there were too much information and too many names and terms for me!

But then you get past chapter ten and Jules and Selene are quickly becoming some of my favorite unlikely couples! And the setting? 👌🏼😩🤌🏼

Rereading this takes me back to all the good things! This story will forever be one of my favorites. She meets mort soon 🤩

So far it’s an okay read - at the half way point I thought things were picking up but sadly not yet

I’m def finding myself dragging with this a little - ish interesting and i like the premise but yeah it isn’t written in the most interesting fashion

The first Third of the book was pretty good! And I had high hopes - but the MFC is grating on me since she’s developing backwards! “I’m so busy being a lonely woe is me please do not come close perfectly nice person who saves my life twice you’re a terrible person no matter how much you show me you’re not” 🙄 urgh - toxic feminity is not a nice read

I wont lie - this book series is like a drug - it's intensce but doesn't help.

apprently these OP pheinix powers are nothing against a dragon and the shadows. The girlies and their bois are not even PLOTTING - like wtf?! <-- yes they take combat classes but surely a decent asssasination attempt or five could have been made.

And its onldy driven by angst. ZERO character or plot development

I find this book hard going - every time something of note happens it gets anticlimactic.

Like…oh it’s NOT a big deal apparently that the oracle told hunt to stay away from Bryce and that she blew up the oracle last time…😫

It’s amazing! From chapter 6 I’ve been hooked and the chapters were short to get to that point
