OK. Let's goooooo, things are heating up!!!

I had to keep a note ok in the beginning lol so many names, terms, places and just guesses for later 😅 goos so far!

I like her writing style. I think it's comforting, has some witty dialogue and some dynamics that you dream and wish everyone was allowed to experience. Though, I just did not care for this particular story. I think I have experienced these relationship types, themes and plots previously and it's ok, sometimes those really work but I could just not bring myself to care about anyone in this installment, sorry.

Well, so far it's not bad but I'm also not riveted either? I don't think I'm connecting with Koen or Serena who are both hyper self-sacrificing, I'm mean to keep others away/safe types.

I liked it. Not life changing but enough points in the book where I was like, should I spoil it for myself so that was good. I wasn't angry or confused by certain choices. Did feel rushed in some spots which is crazy because it's 600 pages. Hope some of the characters are more explored in Brimstone as the aftermath needs to be addressed. I seriously hope it will be just continuous. No time skip, don't slow me down!

My goal is to finish this by "tonight" as in before I sleep, lol very close to being able to move on. There were some neat bits but I haven't learned a whole lot. I thought we were gonna learn about the silver but we just sorta brushed right past that.

Well, we got pockets of no magic, angry and broody dragons, mouthy royalty and lots of flying. Seems like we're just travelling across the continent - but we're at least out of Basgiath?

I am staying motivated. But seriously picking a shorter book next. Something punchy. I'm dragging my feet trying to get to the good bits

So in the past 6 days wasn't that inspired. Still hoping for the best and that IF was just a dud.

Okay, finally giving it a proper focus. Let's get into it - finally breaching the racial dynamics and long-steeped hate to the meat of the Crucible's deadly trial. All the players are assembled.

I'll come back to this blasted book after I am done BK Book 4, god, I don't know how I could feel like YEAH CHARACTERS in the last third in book 1 and then feel so unbelievably drained to get through this book, like what?

Leggo, I'll probably stop this series after this until the second part of Ana's story is available and it just came out this year. I ain't about the pain of cliffhangers if I can help it xD

I read a whole 10 pages and they felt so dense. So I started TBK 3, already 20 pages in lol

Woops, downed that in a day. I'll try and use this momentum to finish The Atlas Paradox lol before sinking down the next book, The Inadequate Heir

I feel so guilty not picking this back up as I have the third book on my shelf. I'll finish it, I just hate that it's the same as Book 1 where it takes me 75/80% of the way to properly get into the book... probably.

Well, I love my ACOTAR cross over and the sprinkles of TOG. It's not as bad as I imagined. Certainly better than Iron Flame.

I'm just in the Maasverse, but I don't know if I'm loving this one. It's the completionist in me right now that I even starting this.
