Patroculous, at the camp, declaring to Achillas he would fight in his place wear his armour, the gods made him say it , i see this now. Zeus i see, all i see, but Thesis? Didnt she know of this? why didnt she stop him? she should have known better, and Patroculous, he did all he could but Achilles had too much pride.

Th gods intervened didnt they? i mean ofcourse they did but it was everywhere, they truly would have never won, never been happy. fate hadd it out for them since the very beginning, since the outh since evrything.

By far my most favorite book of the year, if 'The Song of Achilles' didn't make my standards so high this would, no questions asked be a 5 star read.
