I am struggling with this one; it’s like anesthesia in book form for me. Typically I try not to DNF book club reads so as to be prepared for the discussion but man am I tempted.

I feel like this would be a very good horror movie.

This really isn't grabbing me how I wanted it to. Sigh.

I’m sorry to say that I have to DNF if this one. I’ve enjoyed some of Backman’s material in the past, so I’ve been surprised that Anxious People is turning me off.

The dialogue between characters is too quippy to be believable, and it’s actually annoying me a little bit.

This book just feels like it’s trying a bit too hard.

And now back to our regularly scheduled murder books
