Love the way Michael Crichton builds up dread. This is going to be a fantastic read I can already tell.

7 chapters in. It's a light and easy read. The characters are intentionally made mildly annoying which I like. No complaints and no compliments so far. I suppose this is what i get for searching for another book like "normal people".

there's only a few ways i can describe this book without saying poetic. it's been a while since a story has made me feel so...sad.
