- I am drawn to how this book centres Sophie’s character and portrays Howl as how she sees him- not romanticising!
- seeing how Howl softens and matures over time - and S+H’s relationship develops!

- Rune and Belle’s relationship gives me the giggles and i get excited reading as they develop interest
- The story writing is so prolific and touching I attach to the characters emotionally
