I don’t know why but the feelings of the characters don’t make sense to me like they did in the other books. Kitt just did a 180, Paedyn is presented with strong motives and emotional in one scene and then she seems so unaffected the next. It doesn’t make sense to me. Kai is the only one who kind of makes sense but I would think there’d be something slowly boiling inside him with what he has to witness now.

Kitt changed so much but since it all happened off screen I find myself not really buying all of this. Or more so that I don’t really feel the gratification of it all. I’d have liked to see him fighting through this process. It would’ve been interesting to explore this more intensely and not to be presented with the change on a silver platter after the work is already done.

The book helps me think about the world surrounding me from a biological standpoint. It’s nice to understand how our current life is still connected to an evolutionary process. This process has led me to where I am now. Emotions and all the things going on in my body are a result of this process. I feel like it helps me understand myself and my body in more detail.

I need more books about angry women that are ready to raise hell.
