Im unsure if the audio book is terrible or if the book is as bad as it feels. Sure, its light reading but every single character is giving me BEC.

Was the author trying to prove she was in the craft beer scene or does she just not want the girls to be « not like other girls »

Dangerously close to DNF.

I don’t trust Reece’s book club and this solidifies it.

To say it’s a slow burn would be an understatement. If I were reading this as opposed to an audiobook I would have DNF’d a lot earlier.

I likes “the perfect stranger” by the author but with my thoughts on “all the missing girls” I think she has found her way to my “probably not again” pile.

Generally u have enjoyed the last few books from JP Delaney however, for me this one has been a slow and painful burn. At this point I’m only reading for a twist because it’s typical of the author.
Maybe it’s my fault because I enjoy lifetime movies but this has been a very predictable ride. Even skipping pages has had little impact on the story.
