Probably one of the most slow burning books ive ever read. It’s taking me forever to read because it’s just soooo boring. How do you write a boring dystopian??

Oh my goodness I’ve heard so many people talk about how dark and depressing this book is, and i suppose in some ways it is but it’s had me giggling at work. Talking about Buddy and how seeing him without clothing reminded her of turkey neck and gizzards got a good laugh out of me. Absolutely falling in love with Plath.

So far I am absolutely infatuated with this book. It’s been weirdly spot on and relatable, especially when it comes to school.

Still such a hard read. I wanna DNF so bad but im pushing specifically because it’s a classic and i want to see why it’s rated to highly.

But frankly, i feel like vomiting and I don’t know if I’ll be able to.

Ugh, so far this is such a difficult read. Not only because of the subject (I knew what this was about before I purchased the book, and thought I could stomach it, but im starting to consider a DNF) but the writing. It’s beautiful, but there’s so many obscure and French words I can’t be bothered to look up as I typically read on down time at work. Ugh, can’t wait to be done with this one. Sickening.

I hate this shit so far. All needless abuse of animals. I knew there was abuse but nothing this awful. Considering a DNF if it doesn’t lighten up soon.
