The writing was beautiful but the amount of information needed to understand the worldbuilding is astounding, to the point where I was confused at a lot of points. Dnf’ing for this reason and I feel no reason to continue..

I’ll be dnf’ing this book purely for the reason that I see no reason to continue reading. I told myself I’d make it to at least 20 percent before I quit it, and I did do that! (100 pages whoooo) and unfortunately this book was just to…boring? Idk how to explain it but I just don’t feel connected to the characters or the world soooooo
