The further I get into this book, the easier it is to read. I think there’s so much detail about different religious sects at the beginning that gets a bit overwhelming. Now the action has started!

Two hundred pages in, stuck inside because of weather and I can’t put this book down!

I’m at Nones, the second day on page 147. There is so much detail about different catholic sects that I’m struggling to keep up with.

I’m on page 120 and I’m getting annoyed by the main character’s alcohol abuse. Like, you know things are weird and uncertain right now, why are you drinking so much?!?

100 pages in, and I’m so happy to be back with the Thursday Murder Club. I love these characters, the humor, and the depth of feeling explored around family, friends, getting older, grief and loss.

I’m loving this book, it’s so full of rich descriptions. And the characters are interesting and sometimes infuriating, just like all of us! And it’s definitely making me want to go back to Paris!

Ugh…June is the worst

Still reading this and everyone is terrible! I don’t know how to feel about any of the characters.

Still not finished….

Will I ever finish this book? I’m having such a hard time keeping all the storylines straight.

I started this today on a 9 hour flight and am 200 pages in! In my opinion it’s Penny at her best so far - a story that pulls you in and confounds you and interesting characters.
