I hate to speak to early but I’m loving this book

The end of the Historian is approaching, but my interest is waning - anxious to start my new vampire book So Thirsty

Man i can’t prove it because I’m not an historian, but I’m positive Powers of Darkness, the lost version of Dracula is a fake. An IMPOSTORE!
It reads nothing like Stoker. Not even a first draft.

I need to get back to the Historian but I find myself in need of more immediate Dracula. Now for the bizarre Icelandic translation that may be a different draft, or sneaky translator fanfic

Now done with the book as the main character just sexually assaulted another character. and written not as if we were now following a monster in some reprehensible experiment in empathy, but more of a "welp, it's that time-o'clcock"

No thanks. Going to erase this book from my memory now.

7 out of 130 to be exact. I could only find a not wholly legitimate pdf. (hence the 130 pages instead of 169) and my Italian is as yet pretty pathetic (hence the page 7) Im going through line by line with google translate. its a fun if pulpy book (i saw the film with Rupert Everett back in high school.) and a fun way to build vocabulary

A younger feistier Carl Sagan writes his first book. Still educational and charming he writes with a slightly more aggressive tone

A fun complimentary piece to Contact or the Demon Haunted World

This book is so good
Not an easy read though

The Book has always been great. But the narration by Frances Sternhagen is makes the book AMAZING.

Not sure what dimly remembered younger me was thinking. So far this book is great

Currently re reading continuing my current obsession with Stephen King books about authors.(so most Stephen King books...) No idea why I gave it 2 stars from reading it in 2000. Maybe we'll find out together
