I hate to admit when the canon is actually right.

The tension building is nothing short of cinematic, the interplay of all the different characters is so dynamic, the motions of detachment and sudden intimacy with the protagonist! It’s all so good. A much needed break from Dracula and the escaped wolf sub plot (where r all the sexy vampire bits??)

Obsessed w the Victorian / gothic trope of ill characters not being told bad news in case they die. That’s the ultimate drama queeeen!!!!!!!!!
