I’m already kind of intrigued by this book because its forcing me to just accept some parts of it I just won’t understand because its probably meant to be meant as a type of future speak. I’m surprised how little its bothering me that I have no goddamn idea what the “hydraulics” of a “flanking gambit” would entail. I’m sure someone does but I do get the impression it’s written assuming many won’t.

1. Harriet and Elizabeth are adorable.
2. I have laughed a lot more since we started the Supper At Six portion.
3. Fuck Donatti, fuck the little incompetent scientist and fuck Phil.

I’m honestly surprised (and ok maybe a bit impatient) that we’re not at the Supper at 6 stuff yet. Not mad at the book overall though.

This book is definitely better when its just being creepy.

Still holding out hope that Samantha’s obvious hypocrisy is part of the satire. Like you can see how the bunnies and the school have been assholes but god if anyone thinks she’s all that its Samantha with her mean edgy writing.

I’d be mad not to enjoy a chapter I end just by saying “the fuck?”

Samantha, darling, what do you mean the punk bunny “writes for shock value”? Girl weren’t you just saying they judged your writing for being too dark and mean?

Nearly as far as I got last time; I think after dealing with Samantha’s “not like other girls” vibes a few times I’m a bit more chill about it but man Janis Ian, this isn’t high school.
