Harrowing if you've been in any relationship with somebody who doesn't only have eyes for you or attention for you, especially if your self esteem went through a cheese grater. Such a great and mildly difficult read but I can't wait to finish it.

Still reading, but considering DNFing this because a couple of times it has made me feel like maybe it's ostracizing people with mental illnesses/neurodivergent people/specifically people with ADHD? Not sure. Likely this is not intentional, but it feels kinda yuck, plus, I already feel like I have the book's message down pat.

I do not think that facing the realities of death are as freeing from miserable thoughts to somebody with rumination OCD as they might be to the more casual reader. Hehe.

I feel like I agree with the majority of points made (maybe 90%?) but that I, personally, would rather have more empathy than recommended in these teachings. Not sure if there's a fine line to walk between detached and sympathetic that they are recommending that I am missing.

Honestly, a little repetitive. I feel like that may be expected in this kind of book.
