Honestly, not great so far. It's a fairly quick read but I'm not feeling a lot of romance and both Clara and Rafe seem so one dimensional. Not in the DNF category but I'm a disappointed.

The vampire drama is dialed up to 110%. Gonna take a short break and switch to The Knight and the Moth. I think I’ll enjoy this more if I’m not binging the whole series all at once.

Very invested in this whole “Filthy Rich” universe. Listening to audiobook of the Vampire and simultaneously reading the Fae books. I think I like the Vampire one better so far.

Finally starting

In a slump, hoping this would pull me out. So far, so good.

A Reddit recommendation. Kinda hard to tell what this story is about (aside from a mafia romance and a sick FMC) so going in blind. Interesting setting as the story begins in 1990 NYC and the both characters are already adults.

Ugh this has my least favorite third-act (or does this count as second?) breakup, the “I don’t want to be with you anymore” but she refuses to explain because she was threatened.

Fun audiobook for running. I wanted to read it on Kindle but the wait on Libby is long.

It’s okay as an audiobook, might need to switch to kindle version. Interesting concept so far and the beginning is mostly slice-of-life of the expat and the bridge. Expecting things to get most interesting soon as more are revealed about the ministry’s secret project.

Unless something goes really wrong in the last 25% of the book, this is absolutely going to be one of my Top 3 reads in 2025. It’s so long but I’m loving it so much with the yearning and banters. Ugh I actually don’t want it to end.

I don’t know why I stopped at 18% back in 2024. Restarting after watching the TV show and re-read The Heated Rivalry. The adaptation is absolutely 10/10 perfection with how true it’s staying to the book + Hudson and Connor as the leads.

Heard about this for the longest time and finally decided to read it after finishing The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy. Five-star so far even though it’s a fanfic. The writing and humor are both on point. Honestly this is better than her trad published book.

Trying it again with audiobook. It’s getting cute and I’m enjoying the banters.

So far so good. I'm not sure why I never read the first book in the Gold Rush Ranch series. I haven't been able to finish Wild Side or start Wild Card. The Gold Rush Ranch and Chestnut Springs hit differently and are much more my vibe. Maybe I'll try to finish the Rose Hill series again after listening to this.

Fun read so far. No idea where this is going but I’m enjoying it.

Been in a slump lately and have been doing mostly comfort re-reads. Decided to get started on this one and it's way more fun than I expected.

I’m enjoying all the in depth conversations, both between Alice and Hayden, and Alice and Margaret. Like, you can feel and see why Alice and Hayden are falling for each other. As much as I don’t mind insta-love, this is also nice.

At 16%. It’s a little slow and library loan ran out. Will finish later.

Didn't get to finish before it was returned to library and have to wait another three weeks to borrow again. I think Holly Jackson is doing a good job with tying everything back to the beginning. The series is well-plotted so far.

A bit slow to start but getting interesting

Well-paced and I love that Vanessa is the head of the mafia and he's just a middle school teacher. A refreshing dynamic. I didn't realize this is a debut and was looking for a back catalog of this author's book.

This is a little darker than I had expected.
