I don’t like this book, I don’t know how I’m not even half way but I feel like I’ve wasted too much time to give up

Ok so this book isn’t even spicy, I’m just reading a bad book for the sake of it now

Look I’m only reading for the smut but it would be nice for there to be a good plot and not an insufferable fmc for once. But alas it will do

I take that back it is very obviously on purpose

Ah I’m scared I’m not a huge fan, maybe it’s just the beginning. It feels very white saviour/white feminism from the main character and the way she describes the other race. I’m hoping thats a criticism the author is purposely trying to make

I’m a sucker ok, I just wanna read it before watching the show since bloody well everyone is watching it. I don’t want to be left out. Also Allie is hot

But honestly great book so far! One of the best “romantasy” books I’ve read in a while!

Why is this book actually good. I wasn’t expecting actual world building and a developed plot

This book and series has just become my designated cleaning audiobook. So if I don’t finish it anytime soon that’s why

God I really hate 3rd act break ups sometimes. I don’t want to read it anymore I know it’s coming
