That line right off the bat! "There were words said by each of them. I don't remember what they were. Nothing haunts me more". WOW! Kind of a gut punch right out of the gate. I like the writing style though so far, and I'm interested in the story. My dad recommended the series to me so I already know some things about it from hearing him talk. I'm excited to read it.
