If I had a nickel for every book I’ve read in 2026 that has a redheaded male main character with possible Celtic ancestry who’s a lower class citizen with a connection to snakes whose dad is dead and whose love interest dies, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right?

Considering this a hunger games prequel at this point
