This one isn’t hitting right now so I’m going to put it down and perhaps one day I’ll come back to it

This is soooooo good. I mean - it’s horrific and I’m gobsmacked.
It’s hard with memoirs you know? This woman is one tough cookie. And she’s doing a fabulous job telling her story. And I cried within the first -5 minutes.

I did not expect to be teary-eyed on my drive to work within 15 minutes of starting this book.

I’m looking forward to more listening time!
