I’m trying so hard not to let any books be DNF this year, but this book is really disappointing me so far. I love the characters and find the whole setting to be very charming, but the PACING... 100 pages in and nothing has been accomplished yet. Kind of exhausting for a murder mystery. May put it down and come back to it later. Does make me interested to see the movie though, maybe the pacing will be better.

I am trying SO hard to push through to the end with this one. I simply am not understanding the hype. I have so many negative thoughts so far LOL.

This book has me screaming crying throwing up. I feel so seen. I am devastated and yet I can’t read fast enough. Emma Bolden says what everyone with chronic illness/pain wishes they could say out loud but often feel like they can’t. If I could make every person in my life read this book, I would. Holy crap.
