Why is the first chapter 160 pages long

Fascinating her childhood was different from what I thought. It is nice to know what she thought about when she was younger and that it was her choice to go into entertainment. The parts after she has her kids and gets divorced are sad. It does feel a bit like reading a teenage girl's diary rather than a famous person's memoir.

Started reading a while ago and stopped I like the book the chapters are very long for me I want to finish it next month if I continue to enjoy the book.

Very interesting and good but so many characters to keep track of their relationships to each other.
