Ah-ha I’ve made progress

OH.MY.GOSH this book is such an unnecessary drag I can’t, but I just gotta pull through because it feels wrong to Dnf it this far along. Especially bc thsi authors debut was amazing, but this book, not it, like I don’t get along wit the characters, there’s no connection and the the fmc is made for a reason I don’t know, like crazy lady why do you have beef with thsi guy who kept smt private, calm tf down.

I’m pretty sure I’ve had an unhealthy obsession with Becky Lynch since I was 8 (not a stalkery one), I feel like reading thsi book was always gonna happen

In my defense, this is a thick and heavy book, also the make main characters are PISSING me off bc they are about to do something stupiddddd

I ask myself why I continue to read this book when the fmc irritates me to Level of no other, reminds me of the fmc in red queen- I didn’t finish that series btw

I feel as conflicted about Mavis as Vera does

Basically I got this book as a blind date with a book, and I got 5 pages. Safe to say I won’t be reading this anytime soon
