Chapter 26 when Jules and Roan kiss. Cute, but they haven’t met in years and hardly interacted at all.

Bruh I just read the part in chapter 23 when it's finally revealed that Jules is actually connected to the sorceress somehow. I had a hunched. But the part where it's describing, I don't understand it lmaoo 😭😭. Idk if it's described badly, or I just don't understand it. So. Shame that a rather supposedly big moment is so... anticlimactic.

On chapter 22. Ngl, I think the whole thing with Caro willing to go to the vault for Jules and then bleed 40 years thing seems like a scenario which the author wanted to happened and write about. I think it’s meh. Still rather not that intriguing, writing wise. Concept wise, I like the concept. And I like Liam over Roan so far.

I don’t know why exactly but this book feels kinda boring to me. Idk if reading this through an ebook has anything to do with it. I feel like I should be interested because of the mystery and world building, but I’m not that into it. I feel like my my rating system is very flaws because I don’t know how it works, it’s mainly based on feelings and right now this book is a 3.2/5, but that feels a bit too high.

Started out good, intriguing. But there’s 2 things going on simultaneously. The murdered family and the illegal goods thing. Though the synopsis is about the murdered family,on pg 143,MC literally said “I have to emphasise that I am not regarding this case as a high priority.” Like ok, I mean I was more into this story line at first,but like the illegal things more after,but come on it’s literally the summary
