very slow read. i keep stopping to write down quotes and think. though it takes some digestion, it is a good book for my existential soul

rly enjoyable, can’t put it down. i like how it switches between the End times and the Before and also her family memories. i also like how there’s no quotation marks so you really feel like you’re in Candace’s head.

well this took a turn. deeply disturbed. wanted to puke for that last stretch

somehow i had no idea this was abt vampires. that was a hilarious discovery a quarter of the way thru. i love all the written imagery & scene description.
