Pretty good so far. I’m excited to learn about how the animals are going to interpret old majors speech.

Learning a bit more about the two protagonists. The books very good at catching people up to speed on previous volumes without spending too much time on the past.

I really like the setting and magic that is involved. Although I’m fairly certain that I’ve accidentally stumbled onto a book that’s in the middle of an actual series.
