Despite my constant claim that I will read "That Hideous Strength" whenever I have time, I seem to always be returning to this volume instead.

I'm reading this for a class so I'll be taking my time. It's nice reading Shakespeare again!!

I claim until February second to finish this!

I don't know if it is merely because I have been reading the entire play out loud, but there are so many amazing lines!!! I've already added 3 page sides of quotes from it to my commonplace book.

I never realized that Joan of Arc makes an appearance in any of Shakespeare's History plays. I'm looking forward to seeing an extremely British portrayal of her!

A lot of interesting connections with Tolkien's elves. Especially the Mirkwood elves met in the Hobbit!

I'm reading this for a class I'm in. It appears to be written by a Medievalist so I think I might enjoy it.

I fear that I've fallen down a rather deep rabbit hole, and I blame it entirely on C.S. Lewis's foot notes!

This one is interesting to say the least. With out a doubt, it is one of the first tragedies he wrote.

Oh my. A character just entered the scene named Mr. Nicholas Stone. That has to be a reference to Nicholas Flamel! What's more, he is the owner of a cat named Tybalt, (a Romeo and Juliet and thus alchemy reference?) Because of Mr. Stone I'm starting to wonder if perhaps she is doing more with this outside of it just being a homage to Shakespeare.

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING

I'm in chapter 4 now (which is about fairy tales). This book is amazing!!!
