I should read something lighter, all the non-fiction about political ideologies, math and WMDs doesn't really help maintain mental balance.

Hehe, this story is very similar to the Martian I suspect the protagonist is actually the same guy in the authors mind, he just swapped the name and a bit of background because they would not have sent the Martian guy to this mission.

Pretty fun to read so dated Gates biography, much of his defining decisions were still to happen (90s monopolistic stuff, family, handing CEO role over to Ballmer, philantrophy)

Oh man, I really do like Stephenson's writing. Works well as audiobook.

Excellent stuff, I really like this book.

This book has a lot more to do with motorcycle maintenance than what I imagined :D

Reading the Finnish translation by J. Pekka Mäkelä, it's pretty good.

Hmmh, this strikes me as a bit too pessimistic and rings of ramblings of a grumpy old man. Let's see if the last third proves me wrong. There are interesting observations here as well, though.

Chapter 23: Debugging had some really good points, I should read that once a month.

The subject is interesting and there's little written about it. But this book is quite dull.

Haven't had much time to read recently. It feels like this book is finally getting started at this point.
