I fear this book is going to be overshadowed by the Jasad Heir and I’m questioning my choices of reading these two back to back. Is it possible she’s already annoying me?

NINE PAGES INTO THIS AND IM ALREADY LOSING MY MIND 😭 THIS BOOK IS SO SWEET

Ok what the actual heck is happening? First of all the romance plot just THICKENED and it’s making me nervous while simultaneously breaking my heart. And secondly, WHAT IS WITH THE RANDOM LORE DROPS?!?!?! The magic system and relativity already don’t make a whole lot of sense but the character background stuff that keeps just PLOPPING itself into the plot is throwing me.

Holy confusion??? Idk what’s happening right now but I’m hoping it gets less confusing? The LORE drop on Graves right now was insane and for some reason the whole wren/holly & robin/oak thing seems irrelevant and quite out of place . . . And frankly CRAZY confusing.

It’s 12:17. I need to go to bed but this is so GOOD 😭

I didn’t know it was possible to be so simultaneously bored and wildly intrigued at the same time.

I’m hopeful the plot might be picking up; it’s certainly thickening . . .

I fear the plot has been lost . . .
