I’m so confused as to what’s happening ? Like is she going through some sort of psychosis? I feel like this is going to end in a murder…

Oraya is the most insufferably boring character. Calaena (TOG) is in a similar situation and yet she has personality, she’s layered and not all her qualities are desirable but they make her RELATABLE. All I’m getting from Oraya is a generic soldier vibe, obedient and not very special. Why can’t authors make the female main characters interesting and layered I’m so TIRED OF BLANDNESS.

We get it - he is huge and way taller than you !!! I don’t need to know the DIFFERENCE IN STEPS EVERY TIME YOU WALK TOGETHER.

I’m gonna save my opinions, my big opinions for the end of the book. But I would just like to say that was the most disappointing kiss in the history of books. can she die already? I’m so tired of her being in shackles.
