the narrator has definitely been purposefully vague this whole time and i haven’t thought about it very much up until this point tbh but now telling us that the narrator has had a conversation with arthur at a party in the past? i’m so curious who this person is. how do they know his journey? what authority do they have to report on arthur’s thoughts?? who are you?????

the jumping around is taking me out of it a bit but tbh i’m definitely more invested now arthur’s imposter syndrome is very relatable and i like that he won the italian prize he didn’t think he had a chance at!

idk man there’s nothing wrong with this book i just wish i felt a little more connected to less as a character…. not giving up by any means but craving something more!
