I’m still convinced this book was written by AI with the prompt “re-write Fourth Wing but change the character names” but I’m enjoying it and I’m determined to finish it.

Except I’m very, VERY sick of the word “unreadable”. It almost makes the book unreadable. I never want to read this word again. It’s ruining my life.

WHY IS EVERYTHING “UNREADABLE”? His expression? His voice?

I want to love it but holy shit I can’t get past these thoughts repeating over and over again:

-Was this written by AI?
-YOU USED THAT EXACT SAME WORDING IN TWO DIFFERENT PARAGRAPHS ON THE SAME PAGE!
-Surely you can find another way to describe his gaze other than just “unreadable”?
-Do you need so many one sentence or HALF sentence paragraphs?
-Do I keep going? Or do I DNF? 😫
