Pushing through this book but probably won’t read the next if it ending a cliff. Her writing, although beautifully descriptive, the facts just don’t make sense. The lack of communication between characters is driving me mad and the main character continues to make stupid choices 😵‍💫

Whhhy am I still reading this?? Yall the writing is just so bad. Where are these stars coming from? Goodreads I’m not sure I can trust you anymore!

I *think I’m enjoying this? I’m wondering if it’s due to the male audio actor if it’s just bad dialogue. The dynamics of the FMC & MC. I’m really struggling with connecting in either character.

These books are absolutely crazy… so much trauma, it’s a lot. So thankful Xero starts treating her well in this book because the first book was rough.

Re-reading for the third time in preparation for the book release 🎉

Blaahhh … it’s just not hitting the mark. I can’t decide if it’s because I’m not a fan of the male voice actor or if the character is truly that frustrating for me. Plus, after all that slow burn the 🌶️🌶️ seen went flat for me. Just not feeling the chemistry between these characters. Don’t even get me started on the lack of communication that caused most of the drama in this book.

This is intense, loving it.

Stayed up way to late reading this and even had dreams of what was going to happen next. I KNOW the FMC life is about to implode and I’m emotionally not ready! Plus the next book isn’t out, why do I do his to myself. I’ve been readying far to many unfinished series lately 😵‍💫

Oooh I’m loving this! The FMC is seriously impressive—strong, smart, and easy to root for. I’m really enjoying the plot and how the characters are growing. There’s no spice yet, but the slow burn is building nicely. Perfect kind of tension for cozy fall read.

I toggle between feeling compassion for what the FmC went through with her X and annoyed with her. Glad the MC finds it cute but as a reader I find myself rolling my eyes A LOT!

I’m really enjoying this. I’m a little annoyed the the FMC is risking everything for her POS sister 🙄
