I read mainly romance and fantasy but I do own some mystery. I would prefer to read a book I physically own since there’s so many (I have a bookshelf tag).

Ok am I just in a huge reading slump or do I just pick bad books? This is my second attempt at an autumn book and I just don’t seem to care. The book itself is cute but I just can’t seem to want to turn the page. It’s also in third person which I’m not a fan of. Idk if I should dnf or keep trying 💔

I’m LOVING this. The tension, the chemistry, the residents, the main characters. I love Catherine’s writing. I have read part of her sparrow falls series and I highly recommend and saw this book and HAD to grab it. She writes page turners for sure!

Going to DNF. Might come back to it later but this book omg. It's not that bad. Honestly could force myself to finish it but the MMC only thinks with his d!ck and the FMC tries to convince us that she's not like other girls the whole time. Them together? I don't even get the vibes. They do not seem like they would make a good couple and they need some therapy.

I need a book bestie that would hold me accountable for my tbr. Maybe do buddy reads? Or someone to yap about books with? Update each other on our reading progress?
