This book has a lot of merit but I’m going to dnf for the time being. Certain themes and events have really started to remind me of what’s going on in the Middle East right now, and my mixed but strong emotions on the matter have made reading extremely difficult (especially knowing this book has a pretty grim ending). I’d still recommend it though!
